Which to choose
- Boiler — the deciding spec. The Profitec Pro 600 uses a dual boiler and the Rocket Appartamento a heat exchanger (hx). Separate boilers for brew and steam, each independently temperature-controlled. The most stable, most flexible architecture — and the most expensive. A single boiler kept at steam temperature with a heat-exchanger tube drawing brew water through it — so you can pull a shot and steam milk at the same time. The prosumer sweet spot. This drives most of the milk-drink workflow and price difference between them.
- Temperature. The Profitec Pro 600 has PID temperature control (steadier shot-to-shot consistency); the Rocket Appartamento does not.
- Reach. The Appartamento also fits small kitchen.
