Which to choose
- Boiler — the deciding spec. The ECM Classika PID uses a single boiler and the Lelit Elizabeth a dual boiler. One boiler heats for brewing OR steaming — you switch and wait between. The classic learner's architecture: cheapest path to real espresso, slowest workflow for milk drinks. Separate boilers for brew and steam, each independently temperature-controlled. The most stable, most flexible architecture — and the most expensive. This drives most of the milk-drink workflow and price difference between them.
- Pre-infusion. Only the Lelit Elizabeth pre-infuses (gentler shot start, better extraction on lighter roasts).
- Reach. The Classika PID also fits small kitchen.
- Reach. The Elizabeth also fits latte & cappuccino.
